A great evening at The National Wine Centre in Adelaide!
Last week saw the first State Networking Dinner in South Australia since 2019, where almost 80 people gathered at The National Wine Centre in Adelaide for a fantastic evening.
Joining us for the evening was defence force veteran and Invictus Pathway advocate, Mark Reidy, who attended with his partner Jane and his assistance dog Alba. Mark spoke about his involvement with various charities, with a focus on mental health for those who have served in the defence forces, as well as public safety officials. His very poignant talk certainly struck a chord, with almost $3,500 raised from attendees via a couple of live auctions, hosted by our very own committee member Andrew Wyborn.
Paul Davis, CEO ARCIA said, “We had a great night and were very well looked after by the NWC as has been the case over the years. A huge thank you to Mark, our guest speaker, and to all those who attended and helped to raise such a significant amount for Mark’s chosen charity.”
SA State Professional of the Year Award winner
Congratulations to Kevin Johnson who was this year’s very worthy winner of the South Australia State Award. He is now a national nominee for the Peter Wallace Industry Advancement Award, which will be presented at the ARCIA Industry Gala Dinner in Melbourne on 18 October, 2023.
