2025 ARCIA Gala Dinner & Excellence Awards – What a night!
A night of recognition, laughter, and celebration for Australia’s critical communications community.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2025 ARCIA Gala Dinner and Excellence Awards, held at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. With around 500 guests in attendance, it was another fantastic evening celebrating the people and organisations driving excellence in Australia’s radio and critical communications community.
James O’Loghlin took the stage as our MC and entertainment for the night, bringing plenty of laughs and great energy to the room. In his opening remarks, James captured the spirit of the night perfectly:
“As you’re very well aware, we live in an increasingly wireless world, where constant connectivity is taken for granted by most. But just how important it is to be connected, when you need it, where you need it, has far more serious implications for the communities that you all, gathered here tonight, collectively represent… Be it having a triple zero call responded to quickly, keeping a mine site operating, or a rail network running on time — it matters.”
