National Public Safety Telecommunications Council Paper.
The National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) have released a paper on the interconnection requirements between LMR (existing two-way radio systems) and LTE (Long Term Evolution broadband technologies). The report covers many areas and is a good reference document for those involved or interested in Public safety Mobile Broadband (PSMB) here in Australia.
The report provides an excellent reference for many issues that have not yet been canvassed in the public domain. With approval from NPSTC and with thanks to Zetron Australia as the contributor of the document to ARCIA, we have made the report available. We feel that it is important that some of these international reports should be available for our members and other interested parties here in Australia to have access.
