The committee has been monitoring government restrictions in the hope that we might be able to run some form of industry events later in the year in lieu of the cancelled events in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. Unfortunately with the announcement of further restrictions in Victoria, it is unlikely that we will be able to run any form of event later this year. The committee will be looking for other options and we will keep you updated as plans begin to take shape.
As outlined last month, the committee are determined to continue with our regular industry awards, even under the present difficulties. We believe that we have some exceptional people working in our industry and they deserve recognition.
Nominations for the 2020 Industry awards are now open. Please think about someone you know who deserves recognition and nominate them accordingly.
