What a jolly good night!
The recent AFL Gather Round in Adelaide, which saw all of the AFL teams competing in one city for the very first time, also saw ARCIA have their own ‘gather round’ with a Sundowner on 13 April—the first in Adelaide for several years.
Almost thirty people came together to enjoy the networking at The British Hotel in North Adelaide, an indication that there is an appetite for more ARCIA events in Adelaide, with many in agreement that a dinner and conference, as have run in the past when ARCIA and Comms Connect joined forces, would be a good idea.
Among attendees on the night were representatives from most of the local communication companies and integrators, as well as customers from government and utilities. It was also great to see a few who have now retired, but who it’s always great to catch up with, as previous longstanding contributors to the sector.
Thanks must go to our local ARCIA representatives, Mark Byford and Michael Clark for helping to pull the event together, and to the staff at The British Hotel for their support and for looking after us so well. It was a great chance for ARCIA’s Paul Davis to catch up with the local market to discuss future options for South Australia, including networking and bringing information to the local industry and professional user groups.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for an excellent evening, see you next time!
