Boosting engagement at careers expos

Recently, Andrew Wyborn and Ian Miller attended a careers evening run by the Knox City Council and the Eastern District learning group. As always it is an interesting way to spread the knowledge about our industry and we find that students are usually interested and quite easily engaged.

Over the next couple of months, the team in Victoria will also be attending a careers day at Longernong, Western Victoria, where they have around 1,500 students visit the site, followed by another evening at Ballarat Grammar School where they have up to 1,200 students on the evening. Troy Able has been a strong supporter of these events and gives his time to be there to talk to students and promote our industry as well as talk about wireless communications.
