Costa’s journey in the industry began in 2021 when he joined the local office of a national organisation as an undergraduate engineer. In just a few short years, he has made an exceptional impact, quickly establishing himself as part of a team of experienced professionals and showing remarkable aptitude for his chosen field.
Colleagues describe him as smart, dedicated, and eager to learn — qualities that have seen him not only excel in his role but also take the lead on a number of R&D projects in the mining sector. His enthusiasm and capability are matched by a professionalism well beyond his years, making him a standout in South Australia’s critical communications community.

Costa will automatically be entered into the running for the National Outstanding Professional of the Year Award, competing against other state winners. The national award will be announced at the ARCIA Gala Dinner in Melbourne on October 15, held in conjunction with Comms Connect.
