A Warm Welcome on a Cold Night in Launceston

A cold night in Launceston didn’t deter the local radio and critical comms community from gathering at Du Cane Brewery on 3 July for ARCIA’s first ever trip to the city. With great food, a couple of drinks and a warm atmosphere, it was an enjoyable evening where new connections were made, including some from interstate who made the trip to attend. It was also great to see representation from some of our new partners, eager to take advantage of the gathering. Take a look at the banner at the foot of the page to spot ARCIA’s 5 new partners, among our longstanding and loyal partners from last year!

The plan is to begin to extend Association activities in Tasmania, with Paul Davis CEO remarking,  It’s always great to catch up with our members and partners and to meet those that are looking to join up for the first time, as it allows us the opportunity to share ideas and what’s next for ARCIA in the state. After solid support for our Sundowners, we’ll be back again for sure and are floating the idea of Committee representation and a state Award for the year ahead to join the lineup, so watch this space.”

Keep an eye out for Tasmania updates and news in the weeks and months ahead, but up next is the Brisbane conference, workshops, QLD State dinner and LMR training on 23 – 24 July.
