Urgent notification regarding the ARCIA July events in Sydney
Regrettably, the current problems with the COVID-19 outbreaks in Sydney has caused ARCIA to make the sad decision to defer our planned Sydney events. This includes deferring both the Industry Networking Dinner and the Professional Development Training sessions.
We regret having to take this action, as we were very much looking forward to celebrating our industry and enjoying a bright and cheerful industry networking event with you. However, in light of the COVID-19 risks and the reluctance for interstate guests to attend, we believe it is the only sensible decision.
We continue to hope that the remaining events—planned for the balance of this year—proceed as expected, and we will investigate possible options for Sydney later in 2021. Although our industry is resilient and we manage to keep operational under the most trying conditions, the present pandemic problems are simply out of our control.
