Australia’s Critical Communications Challenges Shared at Critical Messaging Association Conference

The Critical Messaging Association – the industry association for companies dedicated to the wireless delivery of time-sensitive, critical messages worldwide – held its spring online conference yesterday, with our President, Hamish Duff, invited to give the opening presentation, sharing information on the challenges faced by our radio and critical communications sector, given Australia’s vast scale and sparsely populated geography.
His presentation, titled ‘Australia’s Critical Communications Challenges for Public Safety’, was well received, sharing information with attendees from around the world, reflecting on the adoption of new technologies to enhance the delivery of communications, when and where it’s required, supporting Australia’s mature Land Mobile Radio network of networks.
ARCIA would like to thank the CMA and, in particular, their Chair, Dietmar Gollnick, for the kind invitation to participate.
