Last week’s ARCIA Introduction to Digital LMR Standards and Planning
Last week ARCIA’s Introduction to Digital LMR Standards and Planning online (short course) wrapped up with strong feedback from participants, many of whom joined as part of organisational upgrades from analogue to digital systems, or for their own professional development, having previously completed ARCIA’s Introduction to Radio Communications short course.
The students especially valued the overview of major digital standards—DMR, TETRA ,P25, NXDN and dPMR—and the practical guidance on how and why each is used. Several students shared that they now feel much more confident differentiating between systems and selecting the right technology for their organisation.
We thank Chris Stevens, our facilitator, for his clear and engaging delivery of this short course.
