A strong turnout, new venue, and plenty of networking made the final Queensland Sundowner of the year a standout — with two Brisbane sundowners locked in for 2026.

With the temperature and humidity thankfully dipping last week for the last Queensland sundowner of the year, a solid turnout at the new venue down by the river, we enjoyed a couple of drinks and a bite to eat, whilst catching up with old friends and new.

It was great to see some new faces come along, looking to find out more about ARCIA with a view to joining the Association.

Paul Davis, CEO ARCIA, said:

Brisbane always puts on a good evening, and it was nice to have the new back drop, with the view of the city and the river. These are all about networking and looking around on the night, there was plenty of that taking place.

We’ll be back in Brisbane in 2026 with two Sundowners — the first on 16 April and the second on 2 December.

If you’re interested in attending future Sundowners, now is a great time to explore how an ARCIA membership can get you involved.

Next up: the Adelaide Sundowner on Wednesday, 10 December.
