ARCIA Annual General Meeting 2026 – Committee and Executive Update

This year’s Annual General Meeting took place on Thursday 27 August online, as in recent years, with full committee positions filled for the year ahead, along with the one executive position up for nomination, which was one of our two Vice-Presidents.

The Association is pleased to welcome one new committee member this year:

  • Michael Peacocke – representing Queensland

Michael will also take on responsibility for convening our Spectrum & Technical working group, helping the association navigate and respond to discussion papers when required, as well as building and maintaining relationships with various important government bodies, including ACMA and ASD, with his working group colleagues.

ARCIA CEO, Paul Davis, commented

‘This year like last, and the previous few years, we have been very fortunate to fill all committee positions and add to our ex officio members, helping the Association to have nation-wide coverage and input, from some of the most passionate and experienced radio and critical communications professionals anywhere. I look forward to continuing to work with all those who held positions this past year and look forward to working with Michael more closely in the years ahead.”
